At the University of South Carolina Bluffton library, hundreds of Ecoustic® Solid Color Core forms take flight overhead, folded, suspended, and shaped into a custom installation spanning the full length of the atrium skylight. Each piece is cut and creased, then hung on individual wires to create a flock that shifts with the angle of the room and the time of day. It’s a study in what Solid Color Core can do off the wall and off the ceiling grid: not a panel, not a tile, but a material given form and let loose overhead.

Nearby, a custom-cut Chaos ceiling install brings the same 0.47″ Solid Color Core into a dimensional wave pattern overhead the study space. Every piece, from the SCC forms to the Chaos tiles, was color matched to the client’s request, a fully custom palette carried across two very different builds.

Products Used: Ecoustic® Solid Color Core and Chaos in custom color matched 0.47″ SCC.
