- When cleaning Bubbly it is recommended that for oily areas, solvents are to be used, and for water based spots, water based cleaners are to be used. The best procedure for these types of fabrics is to first use wet cleaning methods. Most likely wet cleaning methods will remove almost anything. If that fails, then try solvents.
